Exhorta el Congreso de la Unión a la procuraduría que concluya a la brevedad las investigaciones sobre la venta en internet de los datos contenidos en el Registro Nacional de Usuarios de Telefonía Móvil
La tercera comisión de la Comisión Permanente del Congreso de la Unión exhortó a la Procuraduría General de la República a fin de que concluya a la brevedad posible las investigaciones relativas a la venta de los datos contenidos en el Registro Nacional de Usuarios de Telefonía Móvil (Renaut), revelada por EL UNIVERSAL.
A través de un dictamen que fue aprobado esta mañana los legisladores de la comisión piden también a la PGR que una vez concluidas las indagatorias informe de las mismas al Congreso de la Unión.
El documento hace alusión a la nota de EL UNIVERSAL, periódico que informó hace unos días de que en Internet se pusieron a la venta las bases de datos de dicho programa.
“Se dio cuenta en un medio de comunicación que los datos consistentes en nombres, teléfonos y la Clave Única de Registro de Población, que millones de mexicanos dieron de alta para integrarse al Registro Nacional de Usuarios de Telefonía Móvil son ofrecidos en un portal de Internet por la cantidad de 500 pesos, así como también la manera de obtener, supuestamente, la información del Renaut a través de direcciones específicas de Internet”
En las consideraciones del dictamen, se señala que en abril pasado, el entonces presidente de la Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones (COFETEL), Héctor Osuna, aseguró a diputados que “los datos del Renaut estarían sólo en manos de la Secretaría de Gobernación, con los candados y resguardos que para ello tiene la dependencia”.
El 9 de junio pasado, el senador de PRI, Renán Cleominio Zoreda Novelo, propuso el punto de acuerdo.
Será hasta mañana cuando el dictamen se someta a consideración del pleno de la Comisión Permanente.
