En el teléfono, el funcionario le pidió a Truman que fuera
a la Casa Blanca tan pronto y en forma tan discreta como
pudiera. Así lo hizo Truman. Cuando llegó fue conducido
a las habitaciones presidenciales. Lo esperaba Eleanor
Roosevelt. “Harry -le dijo poniéndole una mano sobre el
hombro-. El Presidente acaba de morir”. Truman hizo una

su sentido del humor, que sus quebrantos de salud nunca

historia de un joven soldado norteamericano que terminó
